Lost one hour of sleep.

The clock showed 2:30 am and my laptop showed 3:30 am, there was nothing wrong with either of them, just that the day light saving started today or simply the summer clock. I really dont understand the logic behind this, all I know is in March I am going to hate it as I lose one hour sleep and in October love it when I get one more hour to sleep. I dont see any psychological change because of this, there should be more logic to this for me to appreciate it.
